One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from military families moving to Valdosta is:

“We figured we’d just rent while we’re stationed here.”

But honestly?

A lot of families are overlooking one of the BEST financial tools available to them:
the VA loan.

Yes — you can absolutely buy a home in South Georgia using a VA loan.

And in many cases, it makes WAY more sense than continuing to rent.

Especially in areas near Moody Air Force Base where homes can still be significantly more affordable than other military-heavy cities.

A lot of my military buyers initially think:
